You'll find that the planet is undergoing the tensions of a massive civil war, and there's a Klingon battle cruiser in orbit! Your duty as Captain James Tiberius Kirk, Mr. Spock, Leonard "Bones" McCoy, or Nyota Uhura is to defuse the threat of civil war, deal with the Klingon presence, and get the planet to join the UFP... all in a matter of just 30 days (approximately 30 turns)!
